The Birth of Nolan Risling - June 2008
It started at 9:30 p.m. June 19 with a few
mild cramps. By midnight mommy took a
shower and went back to bed. Cramps started
to worsen about 2 p.m. and mommy and
daddy headed to the hospital. They got some
sleep and by 8 a.m. Mommy was cursing and
yelling. She wasn't even dialated. By 9 a.m.
she had reached a 2 and the nurse called for
an epideral. All was well by 10 a.m. Things
progressed quickly from there and I finally
came out at 2:43 p.m. I was non responsive
and sent everyone into a tailspin, being
rushed into the NIC unit. Within the hour
I was fine and taken back to my mommy's
room. Lots of shaking going on--and crying.
